This is my friend Joby Smith ....I’ve worked with Joby my entire career and if you were lucky enough to know him, you know he was the BEST of the BEST at what he did. Joby was truly an asset to this industry in so many ways. He passed this week and will be so missed.....Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. I will miss you so much friend…

We were faced with brutal conditions this week but this little guy - Strike King 2.5 Pinger Minnow saved the day (week)!! I’ve grown up fishing frigid water and it’s honestly one of the best baits I’ve ever seen when water is 45 degrees and lower. Zona unplugged coming soon to witness the beatdown - Thanks to the Z crew this week for hanging in there! So cold yet so blessed. Pinger did his job #eyeopening

Well… today was one of the COLDEST days taping a Zona’s Awesome Fishing Show that I can remember - In fact, the bat we were in was frozen this morning but we got to slamming them in a big way!! FOUR layers of Aftco clothing and never shedded one layer - was SO worth it!! (@brianeavey_media is smiling in this photo but he is actually in pain from the cold LOL)

I’ve always wondered how many fish were in wintering holes growing up - Here you go! This was a massive school from today of bluegill, largemouth and smallmouth! Humminbird Mega Live 2 showed EXACTLY how they live together! It was honestly amazing to see how many fish were in such a small area.
